Tripoli WA's Premium High Power Rocketry Weekend. Two days of AP mmBow-chicka-wow-wah heaven!
The launch is on the Saturday and Sunday of the Foundation Day Long Weekend and is open to Tripoli members and invited guests at the landowners discretion. Those turning up with out an appropriately disturbing moustache - male or female - adult or child - member or spectator - will be (must be) summarily hazed.
Flying times are June 4 & 5 from 8:00am to 5:30pm on both days.
Please note: This launch site has no facilities so flyers should bring appropriate clothing, water, food... and shovel as the nearest facilities are at back at the Williams township.
Levels 1, 2 & 3 Certifications are available to Tripoli members.
Launch facilities include:
Standard raft of various rods
Multiple 10/10 rails(1.8m length)
1 x 15/15 rail (3.5m length)
1 x 4m Capral extrusion
38 & 54mm Tower Launchers
Please also note:
All Doublegees (Emex australis) and Caltrop (Tribulus terrestris) must be removed from tyres before entering the property. It is a prescribed pest in many shires under the Local Government Act (1995) and the Williams property is currently free of them. The landowner would like to keep it that way!
